Yagub Mammadov: I know team better
What do you think about European Championship?
I think Euro gave to our wrestlers excellent experience. Wrestlers performance was normal. I expected medals in weight class from 55 to 60 kg.
Who from wrestlers didn’t lived up your expectations?
I am in team 10 day in all. I can’t say anything about expectations. But I know that Abil Ibragimov went to the Championship with trauma. And there situation worsened. Abil had problems with spine. Namik Sevdimov beat ukrainian wrestler, but got trauma in fight with Besic Kudukhov. In resume team take 10th place.
What do you think about international?
Chamsulvara Chamsulvarayev made me happy. Bronze is very valuable for us. He fought very good against European champion –Murtuzaliyev. Ali Isayev’s performance also was not bad. He took 5th place. He could gained bronze if won Turk.
Did you have problems with referees?
No. I didn’t see that. Refereeing was normal. Main thing – I knows team better and I decided how I will work. Federation give us chance to show our abilities.
What do you know about Novruz Temrezov?
He was not allowed to take part in competition. He participated for Russia on Grand prize. But on World Championship he will represent Azerbaijan.
