Bulent Korkmaz: I don’t know who will play on field
The head coach of Baki FC gave an interview to azerisport.com before match of match day 13 of premier-league against Standard-Sumgayit.
Besides preparation for match against Standard-Sumgayit your team discussed defeat from Khazar-Lankaran in last round of championship most likely.
We already forgot about this game. I hope players also forgot about those mistakes. And frankly speaking in spite of defeat we were normal, especially in first time.
You mean the referee’s actions were not right?
It is my opinion. Yes, his penalty to our goals was deservedly. But in first half he didn’t set penalty to Khazar-Lankaran’s goals.
We heard about incident with Dmitriy Kramarenko.
I didn’t like he argued with my assistant. I don’t want to conflict with any footballer. Sometimes we can’t hold our emotions.
When it comes to Baki goalkeeper – Marko Sharlia, don’t you think he makes too much mistakes? Khalido Sissoko can replace him.
Both goalkeepers are very good. But I don’t know who will play I match with Standard-Sumgayit. Everything will be clear after final training.
What can you say about Felix, who leaved team?
I always was against conflicts between players and referees. But he did it. I don’t know who gave him this right.
We have information that all squad will be changed in winter.
It is not true. Somebody wants to spoil environment in team. We are not going to make the changes.
What if Sasha Yunisoglu or Mahmud Gurbanov leaves team?
It is theirs right. I know that Sasha plays in Azerbaijani team, Mahmud made a lot of good things for Azerbaijani football.
Is team ready for match against Standard-Sumgayit?
I think Baki knows how to play against such kind of clubs. They have won in last round but I don’t worry. Everything is going to be all right. We can’t repeat the mistakes of match with Khazar-Lankaran.
Your contract with Turkish Fox Company will be completed at the end of year. Are you going to prolong it?
I can’t understand why it is so interesting to you. But I can answer: I will talk to Baki management at the end of year and if they be not against, I will prolong my contract.
